you Infolinkers some good pointers by featuring top experts in right

the best advice out there.
That’s why we are so honored to feature Derek Halpern, founder of Social Triggers, a blog that shows you how to use the web to attract leads and sales for your business.
The Derek Halpern “Easy Guide to Get More Traffic”
If you’re looking to get more traffic to your website, here’s what you need to know:
Stop creating content.
Yes, you read that right. The secret to
getting more people to visit your website has nothing to do with how
much content you create. Instead, it has to do with how good you are at
getting the content you already have into the hands of more people.
Keep reading and I’ll explain. I’ll also share a FREE video and a FREE ebook with you.
Let me run some numbers for you…
Unless you’re running a website that
focuses on breaking news, you’ve probably got some articles that are
beneficial people today, tomorrow, and for years to come.
Maybe not all of your articles, but SOME of them, right?
Maybe you’re a food blogger and you post
recipes. Maybe your a mommy blogger and you give tips on how to stop
your baby from crying. Whatever the case, you’ve got SOMETHING that is
good today, tomorrow, and for years to come.
Well, if you spend your time creating
that content and that content only gets 1,000 hits, chances are there
are one million other people in the world who can benefit from what you
wrote. So, why create MORE content when you already have a piece of
content you can use to get more visitors?
This simple idea is lost on a lot of people.
They think, “Well, it’s old.” But they
fail to realize that what’s old to them is new to other people. And when
an article only gets 1,000 hits, it may be old to those people, but
it’s going to be new to 1,000,000 other people. All you have to do is
get your content into the hands of people who haven’t seen it yet.
Now here’s the thing: Right about now,
people always say, “But if I keep sharing the same article on social
media, won’t people get annoyed that I’m sharing the same article?” OF
COURSE.
You’re not supposed to share the article
with the same 1,000 people who already saw the article. You’re supposed
to find NEW people who can benefit from the article. That means, you
can’t send it to your social media page 74 times. That’s not promoting
your stuff. You need to reach out to other websites that have readers
you want… and convince them to share it.
How do you do that?
That’s where what I call “The Write Email, Click Send” strategy comes into play. And I filmed a video about it right here:
It’s that easy.
When you want to get your articles into
the hands of new people, all you have to do is write emails, click send.
(And of course use the strategy I share in the video). But let’s take
this a step further…
If I were to break this down into “time
spent,” here’s what I’d say: You should spend 20% of your time creating
content, and 80% of your time promoting it. This doesn’t mean you rush
out garbage content. This means you spend a week on creating a GREAT
piece of content, and then spend 4 weeks trying to get that content into
the hands of more people.
“Does it really work?” you ask?
